A supportive community of people willing and able to respond to our climate and ecological emergency with wisdom, compassion, and determination.
MISSION
We create interfaith spiritual gatherings where people deeply concerned about the climate and ecological emergency can find strength and build community.
Our gatherings aim to:
- connect us deeply to the land on which we live
- bear witness to the suffering caused by ecological destruction and social injustice, and
- give us hope based on the depth of our love for life.
Our gatherings are generally held outdoors in beautiful or significant locations where we can connect with the Earth in a direct way. They include spiritual elements like meditation, prayer, reflection, scripture reading, ceremony, music, or song.
We invite collaboration and hope to build an interfaith community around these events. Contact us if you are interested in participating or attending! Check our Gatherings page for information and pictures from past events.
We are active on land stolen from indigenous Kalapuya, Chinook, and Molalla peoples, in the shadow of Wy'East (Mt. Hood).

What is GreenFaith?
GreenFaith is a grassroots, multi-faith movement for climate justice.
People of faith make up over 80% percent of the world’s population.
Our religions teach us to care for the earth and each other; we seek to live by these values. Right now, however, the world is deeply out of balance and we are frightened and concerned. The most vulnerable among us are suffering while ineffective or authoritarian governments, polluting and extractive industries, and extremist cultural and religious forces place our planet at great risk.
We have an opportunity now for bold transformation, to build a life connected to each other and the Earth.
Our faith and spiritual practices give us the strength to turn towards great challenges and to profoundly change the world. People of faith have done so before when there was a call to action, and members of the GreenFaith community are choosing to do so now.
